Sicuramente UNICO!! Un album veramente originale e, tecnicamente parlando, ottimo... peccato davvero per la registrazione, a dir poco penosa!!

Che altro dire degli Adramelch... sono un gruppo pressochè sconosciuto come moltissimi altri gruppi italiani degli anni '80... allora la scena italiana era decisamente ostacolata dalla mancanza di infrastrutture e da una eccessiva esterofilia (da una parte anche giustificata, visti i gruppi europei del periodo!!). Inoltre gli Adramelch, con Irae Melanox, innovavano sensibilmente il sound power già conosciuto e questo li rese un pò più "oscuri" agli occhi della gente.

Oggi il gruppo di Gianluca Corona (chitarrista e mente degli Adramelch) sembra aver già pronto il materiale per un nuovo disco... a tal proposito stanno cercando un nuovo bassista!!

Su internet è pure possibile trovare il telefono di Vittorio Ballerio (il cantante!! M I T I C O !!!!) per avere informazioni a riguardo!!

Beh, sono decisamente tutte molto suggestive, leggendo i testi vieni trasportato in luoghi assolutamente tetri e gotici (wow...ho già espresso la mia passione per cattedrali gotiche, archi a sesto acuto che svettano verso il cielo e guglie a perdita d'occhio???), diventi partecipe di atmosfere oscure e penetranti.

Nel loro mondo assolutamente cupo e nero come la pece, non solo semplicemente fisico ma più che altro mentale non mancano schiarite sfolgoranti e assolutamente positive, come la bellissima e travolgente "Dreams of a Jester" che ha un attacco poderoso sostenuto da una batteria potente e parole di speranza, degna conclusione dell'album.

Per quanto Irae Melanox abbia un testo assai poetico, significativo e tutt'altro che banale (accusa la Chiesa di essersi mascherata dietro alla missione di sconfiggere Satana per compiere efferati delitti e quindi di aver incarnato essa stessa il Male sulla faccia della terra), Dreams of a Jester rimane la mia preferita.

Straordinari dal punto di vista tecnico e particolarissimi dal punto di vista prettamente musicale... personalmente non li adoro, ma ogni tanto li ascolto volentieri!!
