A me sembra un anello accumula incantesimi più potente (perchè mantiene la concentrazione e ricarica l'incantesimo contenuto ogni giorno) e meno potente (perchè limitato a incantesimi di 3 livello). Quindi di base lo tratterei come tale. Un anello accumula incantesimi è raro e secondo il GDM 2024 questa categoria ha un valore di 4000. Secondo me è fatto col culo, visto che lo step successivo è 40.000 gold. Interpolando direi che il valore di un oggetto raro va da 800 a 20.000 monete d'oro. Considerando il potere di quello che vuoi creare lo valuterei almeno 10.000 mo, ma è molto a sentimento, come purtroppo troppe cose dell'edizione.

Mi accodo ai consigli già dati e ne aggiungo uno: non cercare di emulare "dm" famosi visti qua e la, non sono narratori ma solo attori che si preparano e studiano un copione da mettere in scena; non ci sono imprevisti, i giocatori in quei casi hanno un binario unico da seguire e non giocano live, son sessioni tagliate e montate per il mero show. Non mi è chiaro il significato del card game. È un gioco di carte collezionabili tipo Magic o un gioco da tavolo/di ruolo che si basa su carte?

Onestamente ho opinioni contrastanti: l'idea sembra carina e sono contento che un progetto ideato in Italia venga distribuito nel mondo, e il gioco potrà pure essere divertente con un concept abbastanza interessante. Ma allo stesso tempo non sono un grande fan della scelta dell'AI Art, come penso in realtà molti, e sinceramente non ci tengo a vedere gente che paga migliaia (in un ipotetica situazione) di euro / dollari / valuta per acquistare la rarissima carta di cui ne esistono solo 15 e la cui Art però è errata e ha 15 dita e 3 gambe. Possono fare tutto il quality control che vogliono ma ci saranno sempre errori. E se questo andasse a spopolare, contribuirebbe a incentivare l'utilizzo dell' AI nelle aziende e la bolla economica dell'AI crescerebbe ancora attirando l'attenzione delle aziende che producono TCG / LCG. E qua si teme che quindi poi MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh e altri giochi di carte decidano di lasciar perdere l'arte umana. Però sono solo supposizioni in un eventuale successo del gioco, che vedo comunque difficile (a meno che il distributore non è un super distributore famosissimo che fa un botto di marketing) anche perché la gente inizia a stancarsi dell'AI "Art"

Capitava esattamente che non capissero cosa avessi detto (e sono fratelli, in certi momenti si mettevano a bisticciare) e quindi dovevo un po' rispiegare ciò che avevo appena detto Si in realtà quella piccola sessione che abbiamo avuto è durata pochissimo per questioni di tempistiche e organizzazione quindi non sono riuscito pienamente a vedere bene i loro comportamenti e infatti gli avevo solo descritto l'ambiente circostante all'inizio dell'avventura. Posso però confermare che almeno uno dei due giocatori era molto interessato durante il combattimento (tralasciando il quasi-TPK), potrebbe essere stata la mia ridicolossima imitazione di uno zombie che cade in mare ma in generale sembrava totalmente coinvolto, ha infatti usato entrambe le sue armi e sembrava comprendere il sistema di combattimento in sé.

Confermo che Becmi funzionava così (e i "semi-umani" non arrivavano al 36° livello, ma si fermavano prima: nani al 12°, elfi al 10°, e halfling all'8°... questo per quanto riguarda i pf e i ts, mentre avevano modo di incrementare il Thaco), e che anche a me sembra di ricordare che era lo stesso per AD&D 2. Non demordere, imparare a giocare può essere complesso, soprattutto per dei ragazzini che al giorno d’oggi sono abituati giochi e film ben più immediati e dinamici rispetto a carta, penna e fantasia… Imparate insieme, un pochino alla volta, non cercare di inserire tutte le regole fin da subito perché diventerebbe tutto eccessivamente complesso e minieresti il divertimento. Lascia perdere le cose più complicate, semplifica dove puoi, e se nel mezzo dell’avventura non ti ricordi una regola… Improvvisa! Non interrompere il flusso, risolvi la situazione come secondo te è più giusto e vai a riguardare il manuale a fine sessione. Interrompere spesso per andare a rileggere le regole è una delle cose che, per esperienza, fa calare di più l’attenzione al tavolo. Coraggio, sono sicuro che insieme vi divertirete tantissimo!

In AD&D potrebbe essere su uno dei compendi di espansione, spells and magic forse. Anche noi, ma mi pare in 3e, in AD&D secondo me seguivamo il manuale. Si, la volontà è stata praticamente di eliminare i save or suck e tutte le condizioni che impedivano la partecipazione dei giocatori al gioco a lungo. Sebbene comprendo la ratio e la condivido anche in parte, alla fine hanno un po' ridotto la "suspence". Va anche detto che l'eliminazione dei save or suck non reversibili (disintegrare di 3e) l'avevamo adottata anche noi, nel senso che praticamente nessuno (ne PG ne PNG) lo usava. Gli altri no, si usavano, perchè di base avevi un modo per tornare in vita (anche dal disint, ma non così facile da raggiungere). Si si lo so, proprio per quello lo suggerivo, potrebbe essere un'aggiunta specificata (e nemmeno troppo difficile o time consuming) per questo motivo.

L'articolo in effetti pecca di ordine, va un po' avanti e indietro nel tempo tra le varie edizioni, per chi non conosce l'ordine di uscita rischia di essere confusionario. Aggiungerei che i bonus delle caratteristiche in AD&D sono spesso asimetrici. Per esempio con forza 18/00 avevi si +6, ma solo al danno, al TxC era un +2. Cura ferite moderate proprio non lo ricordo, in quale manuale era saltato fuori? Per quanto riguarda la morte in AD&D, da noi si era soliti usare come soglia il punteggio di costituzione (si moriva cioè a -CO, per esempio con costituzione 14 la soglia era -14), ma c'era anche una clausala sulla morte istantanea in caso di danni elevati (presa dal manuale se non ricordo male). Avevo notato subito, quando ho approcciato la 5E (non chiedetemi delle due edizioni precedenti), che c'era stata una volontà ben chara di rimuovere il meccanismo per cui un personaggio viene messo fuori combattimento o ucciso in modo istantaneo: lo si vede chiaramente in incantesimi come disintegrazione (toglie 70 PF in caso di fallimento del TS anziché disintegrare il malcapitato) o altri come blocca persona, o alcuni veleni, che permettono alla vittima un tentativo di sbloccarsi ogni round dopo aver fallito il tiro salvezza. C'è da dire che questo è anche figlio del cambiamento nel funzionamento dei Tiri Salvezza, che ora non sono più un tiro assoluto ma dipendono dalle capacità dell'attaccante e che quindi, soprattutto ad alti livelli, hanno probabilità molto maggiori di fallire. Le medie sono una prassi delle edizioni moderne, ma in effetti per i giocatori abituati ad esse potrebbe essere un riferimento utile. Ad ogni modo credo che il traduttore si sia limitato a riportare l'articolo così com'è.

Anche perché (in BECMI di sicuro e mi sembra di ricordare anche in AD&D) i DV dei PG si fermavano al 9° livello, poi si aumentava di un tot fisso e senza costituzione a seconda della classe
