Siccome sono un accanito fan dei mitici Blind vorrei sapere cosa ne pensate anche voi. E vorrei inoltre aggiungere che chiunque abbia notizie "fresche" le posti in quanto ormai sono passati 3 anni dall'uscita dell'ultimo album (A Night at the Opera) e non ho più avuto notizie di un ritorno in studio. L'ultima news del sito ufficiale riguarda Markus Siepen che si è operato ad una gamba dopo essersela fracassata.

Welcome to the new Blind Guardian homepage!!!

With great enthusiasm we do not only announce the activation of the long promised extremely beautifully looking homepage design, we are also pleased to inform you, that we finally have started the albumproduction on the "Nightfall ..." successor. More information regarding all studiomatters will be first given to you on this homepage. Each kind of additional footage will be presented here in the upcoming weeks as well. We will constantly provide you with tons of details regarding the actual status of the recordings, songs, etc.. Riguardo alle canzoni volevo dire la mia, nel cd "imaginations from the other side" che considero il più bello nel complesso vorrei citare una canzone che evoca atmosfere particolari, almeno secondo me

Bianca, hai espresso appieno il mio pensiero! Anche se per me la versione migliore di Mordred' sta su The forgotten tales, riarragiata magistralmente come anche alcuni altri pezzi del calibro di The Wizard, Past 'n Future secret e Lord of the Rings. In generale, questi riarrangiamenti mi piacciono piu' dell'originale!

In mordred' ci sono alcuni punti che non riesco piu' a contare le chitarre acustiche... 4...5? boh! cmq magistrale

per non parlare della batteria!!! In alcune canzoni il batterista sembra DUE!!! Sembrano due persone!!! magico!

Effettivamente sono un gruppo tecnicamente e a livello di talento con i cosiddetti controcaxxi!

L'unico mio rimpianto è che non sono riuscito ad andare a vederli a Firenze causa impegni lavorativi, cmq per il prossimo tour sono disposto a fare pazzie.

intendi quando andarono al Tenax? io ci sono stato, ma è stata un' esperienza allucinante. non si respirava, era pieno di animali che sudavano come animali.

hai presente il live? nel disco 2 c' è Time Stands Still at The Iron Hill, no? prima dell' attacco si sente bene la folla che acclama: "Mirror! Mirror! Mirror! Mirror!", ci hai fatto caso? infatti è la registrazione di Firenze...

Si si lo so, poi non hanno nemmeno fatto "And then there was silence" che invece hanno fatto a Venezia, riesco a capire che la situazione non era ottimale x una canzone di 13 minuti, xò dato che era nell'ultimo disco almeno un'assaggino lo potevano fare......

Personalmente trovo che Nightfall in Middle Earth sia allo stesso livello di IFTOS... mi permetterei di dire SENZA DUBBIO!! Tecnicamente parlando siamo obiettivamente allo stesso livello, musicalmente diventa un parere soggettivo!! Mi auguro che il loro nuov album sia all'altezza del primo... mi fa ben sperare la loro lunga pausa produttiva... che si tratti della quiete prima della tempesta??

sono un musicista di professione(per la precisione un batterista)e ti posso dire che i blind sono stati il gruppo che più ho ascoltato da due anni a questa parte(di nascosto dal mio maestro perchè se no mi spezzava le braccia).tecnicamente parlando c'è di meglio nel panorama metal,ma anche i più bravi non sono riusciti a darmi le emozioni che mi hanno dato i blind.sono unici e dal vivo posso assicurare che sono delle macchine programmate per far godere il pubblico.difficilmente mi sono emozionato tanto ad un concerto(a parte la prima volta che ho visto gli strung out)e di concerti ne ho visti veramente tanti.comunque i miei album preferiti sono forgotten tales e a night fall.ma le migliori canzoni sono senza dubbio under the ice,mordred's song,ma senza dubbio er mejo der mejo è banish from sanctuary,soprattutto quando sei in mezzo al pogo ad urlarla a squarciagola.

Nemo, sto ascoltando or ora Mirror mirror... è davvero SUPERLATIVA anche se non è la mia preferita!!
