Per quei due che non lo sapessero e` stato uno dei fondatori ed il tastierista dei Pink Floyd.

Era stata scritta per qualcun altro, ma mi sa che vado a risentirmi "Shine on you crazy diamond"

L'ho sentito alla radio mentre tornavo a casa dal lavoro stasera. Un tizio, per ricordarlo, gli ha fatto una dedica e ha chiesto di sentire "Echoes", e alla radio l'hanno fatta ascoltare tutta, per intero. E' stato un viaggio triste.

Un altro Artista se ne va. Un Genio della musica, un Sognatore. La morte per lui non è tale. Continuerà a vivere ogni volta che qualcuno ascolterà la sua musica.

Che vuoi farci Dusdan? C'è chi viene ricordato senza motivo e chi invece fa una vita senza eccessi e clamore, e pur portando un grande apporto all'Arte viene ignorato.

Triste, sì.

Se penso che oggi tutti quegli zozzoni che in radio mettono solo melma si sono affrettati a spolverare metaforicamente i vinili dei Pink Floyd per mettere chi Echoes, chi The great gig in the sky domani ricominceranno con mondo marcio ed i finley mi si accappona la pelle.

Che fine ha fatto la musica?

Da alcuni mesi ascolto Virgin Radio,devo dire che spesso passano i Pink Floyd,i Beatles...

Non per fare pubblicità,però è una Radio che manda ancora molto Rock...

In ogni caso,i Floyd hanno vissuto gli anni in cui non erano rari i Concept Album,dischi che dal primo solco all'ultimo trattavano un unico tema,sia musicale che a livello di "trama".

Personalmente adoro questo modo di fare Musica...

Il numero di post di questo topic mi rende un po' triste.

Beh Dus...alla fine le parole che vengono in mente sono sempre quelle, magari molti leggono pur sentendo qualcosa, anche se non scrivono nulla. Io ero tra questi.

Sognavo ancora di poter assistere ad un concerto dei Floyd qui in Italia, benché fosse quasi impossibile (l'ultimo è stato nel '94...ma peccato che allora non sapessi nemmeno chi fossero, i Pink Floyd), ora a maggior ragione credo che sia davvero tutto finito, che sia tutto consegnato alla Storia.

Quegli accordi di settima vengono da un po' più su, ora.

Direi che sta finendo un'era, poco a poco se ne stanno andano tutti i grandi della musica.Mi chiedo: le genereazioni future di musicisti, chi prendereanno come modello?

Si ispireranno a gente com il Giustino del lago Timber?
