"Non siamo contro nessuno, siamo solo a favore della libertà". Una delle frasi celebri attribuite a Richard Stallman per descrivere gli obiettivi della Free Software Foundation. Ma se c'è qualcuno o qualcosa che va contro la libertà degli utenti allora per la FSF questo è un nemico da combattere. Ecco allora che Stallman e compagni hanno deciso di lanciare una campagna che utilizzerà come strumento un blog per mettere in luce il lato antilibertario di Windows Vista: BadVista.

Il prossimo sistema di Microsoft implementa delle tecnologie di Digital Rights Management e di Trusted Computing (o meglio di Treacherous Computing) che tolgono libertà e diritti agli utenti e BadVista vuole informare sui danni che saranno provocati dall'adozione del sistema MS ma anche indicare delle possibili alternative "libere" come gNewSense.

Chissà come la prenderà zio Bill :-)
