Version 1.07

 - Added the ability to dump a list of the texts in a topic file. The
output can be redirected any DOS supported device (a file, a printer,
   etc.)

 - Added an alternate version of USEBUILD called USEBILD2 which swaps the
bulk of itself into XMS/EMS/DISK before executing the various tools
which are part of the BUILDER. This reduces it's in memory overhead to
about 11k from 30k, but makes the program run slower (especially if
   there is not XMS/EMS available.)

 - If BUILDER aborted in the middle of a mass import operation, the file
being imported was left open, eventually all file handles could be
   exhausted.

 - Corrected several bugs, and added 2 more recognized header keywords in
the mass spell import facility. Formerly the last character of the 1st
line of description was always lost, as, under some circumstances was
the last line of each text. Now 'Reversible' and 'Author' header
   keywords are supported.

 - The mass import facility is also more resistant to variations in white
space embedded in texts being imported.

 - The mass import facility will now give an error message when it fails
instead of dumping the user back to the main menu. The error message
will display the line that caused the problem (if applicable.)

 - The mass import facility will now give a warning if one of the texts
being imported has a name conflict with an existing text - previously
   BAD things would happen.

 - Corrected a few more errors, and made a couple of minor revisions and
   updated the documentation.

Version 1.06

 - Corrected several errors in the documenation which had crept in due
to it's not having been carefully updated to follow changes in the
BUILDER and the TOME and their respective utility programs.
Additionally, I have clarified portions of the manual which were
   apparently causing great confusion.

Version 1.05

 - Corrected a bug which would cause INIEDIT to incorrectly handle the
deleting of databases from the VAST.INI file, causing the possibility
of a severly mangled INI file.

 - Corrected a bug in INIEDIT which would only let you edit one category,
after so doing the only option was to leave the program.

 - COMBINE upon encountering a Version 6 index file (which it cannot
operate on) would crash with a run-time error. Now COMBINE will give
a polite (and explanatory) error message then terminate normally.

 - USEBUILD has been upgraded so that it now recognizes (and allows users
access to) the INIEDIT tool (thanks again to Erik Beauvais).

Version 1.04

 - Added the capability to COMBINE to either rename duplicate texts
(default behaviour), eliminate duplicates, or be queried about
   each duplicate.

 - Corrected a bug which caused magic items to be stored as 8th level in the
keyword database no matter what level was input. (Sorry about this.)

 - The capability of automatically (and easily) add to/delete from/modify
the entries for spell/monster/magic item/topical/special databases
in the VAST.INI file has been added as a separate program (INIEDIT.EXE).
(Be SURE you know what you're doing before you mess with this.)

 - Added a BUILDER integrator (written by Erik Beauvais) called UDEBUILD,
which allows the use of the BUILDER utilities in an easier manner than
   was previously possible.

 - Added a batch spell import facility to accomodate individuals who
have large numbers of spells already on disk and want to import them
en masse. (Thank you Udo Wagner for these routines.)

 - When redirected LZSIDX.EXE and PRNTKEYS.EXE would truncate the output
even when terminating normally. This has been fixed.

 - The F5 block highlight option now works both forward and backwards.

Version 1.03

 - The under rare circumstances UNLZSIDX.EXE would not work properly,
resulting in mangled index files. This has been fixed.

 - No warning was given when adding a monster/magic item/topic when one
with the same name already existed, the old one was overwritten. This
   has been fixed.

 - Combine would not convert the keyword files faithfully under some
circumstances, resulting in mangled keyword files. This has been fixed.

Version 1.02

 - Corrected bug which crashed the editor when the Backspace key was
pressed when the cursor was in the 1st column of the 1st row.

 - Corrected menu mangling problem. If you worked in the magic-item menu
or monster menu for a while, then returned to the main menu, the list
of topics to be edited/added to/searched would be that of monsters or
   magic items, not spells.

 - Corrected a bug which would cause LZSIDX.EXE to crash with an invalid
file handle when run in an OS/2 DOS window. This occured on some DOS
   machines too.

Version 1.01

 - Corrected bug in LZSIDX.EXE which caused it to run out of file
   handles.

 - Added improved checking to LZSIDX so it shouldn't accidentally
compress index files that are already compressed.

 - Added the ability to compress only one index file.
